Hey Everyone,

Hope you've all had a good weekend! Sorry for my hiatus the last couple of days, I kind of lost all concept of time this weekend with Australia day celebrations which resulted in a collection of unsightly and now faded   patriotic "I  <3 Australia" tattoo transfers on my arms (hence the long sleeved top). Anyone got any tips for getting rid of these?!

Ive been wearing this pinafore from Topshop a lot lately, I decided to customise it a bit by cutting off the bottom hem to give it a little bit more of a rough edge. I shortened it a tiny bit too so it wouldn't make me look so small in flats!

These Sportsgirl black plimsolls were also a surprisingly worthwhile buy. Since misplacing my converse the other day I really needed some trainers to just chuck on for daily errands and these have been perfect.

Hope you've all a nice week! I'm really enjoying these athletic leggings at the moment, theyre so comfy and easy to throw on. They're really good for pretending like you're off to the gym when you're just dossing about too haha.

This bag is one of my favourites just now its simple but effective, I love the spike detailing it adds a little something extra :)

I haven't really taken these boots off my feet since receiving them, love them !

Hi Guys,

Im back after a small Birthday celebratory break! Firstly I need to show you these amazing boots from Topshop that Id been after for aages. Yet again I found myself torn between these and the all black version but decided to step a little out of my black-boot-addiction comfort zone and opted for these! Baby steps...

 I'm really into crochet just now thanks to Free People's latest collection and managed to source this cute little tunic at SportsGirl. Ive grown quite found of the shop since moving to Australia, although initially going by the name I definitely didnt think it would be my thing.  Its kind of like a smaller scale, more expensive Topshop with a bit more of an Aussie centred collection season wise.

I know I keep promising you all some behind the scenes snaps from work but they are definitely coming this week !!

Hey Everyone.

Ive got a bit of a casual beachy look for you guys today ! Ive heard its snowing back in the UK so I feel a little bit bad for continuously posting summery looks but the tables will be turned in a couple of months and I'll be jealous of all you guys ! A lot of people seem to think it doesnt get cold in the winter over in Australia but in Melbourne it really does!

Its my birthday tomorrow and forecast to be 39 degrees, Its going to be so strange because im so used to in snowing every year for it! Time to finally  re-live my childhood dreams and get the bouncy castle out for my Birthday Party.

Im also dying to show you all my new tattoo but its still healing just now and needs a couple of little finishing touches :)

Hey everyone,

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Im really enjoying the beachy/ bohemian aesthetic just now and transferring it to my everyday looks. I live out in a cool little suburb known for its hippy vibe so there are loads of quirky people going around for inspiration. Theres also this amazing hippy market here on a Thursday night that sells the most amazing jewellery and accessories.

I'm really sad to report that shortly after these photos were taken, I left this cardigan unattended on a bench for a couple of minutes and it was taken :(  Its always worse when you loose something thrifted but at least it gives me an excuse to go out on a thrifting trip to find a new one!

Im booked in for a new tattoo tomorrow as its coming up for my birthday and its been a bit of a tradition for me ever since I turned 18. Im super excited about it and cant wait to show you guys when its done :)

I think this jumpsuit is possibly one of the most comfiest things I own right now, its amazing for throwing on in the flat, wearing to the beach or dressing up with heels. Im so glad overalls are making a comeback just now, its been long awaited !

This shark tooth necklace has been permanently attached to my neck these past few days, I love it. I'd been after one for a while so was really excited when I found this at a little market.

Little White Dress

Hey Guys,

I always feel compelled to wear a cute little dress once in a while on a summery day, usually I try to give them a little edge and create more of a bohemian vibe with some leather and/or fringing. The material of this dress is so light weight and soft, great for dressing up or going casual, if it wasnt so hot right now I'd be rocking this dress with some biker boots!

Happy Heavenly Birthday Baby Bubble

Heartache has become so much a part of my every day life.  I guess everything we have been through, everything we have endured, has skewed my perspective...  and everywhere I look I see sadness, hurt and heartache...

And today is no exception to that rule.

Today the world is a sad sad place.

It should be happy, we should be celebrating, we should be laughing and having fun.

We should be celebrating a first birthday party of my precious, beloved little nephew, but he was born sleeping at 35 weeks.

We are having something of a party, but instead laughter there is tears.

Instead of looking forward to many more to come, I find myself reflecting on the fact that life is so cruel.

Today I am adding a whole new level of sadness to the heartache I already feel every day. 

My heart hurts for my daughter, for missing her, for loving her...  my heart hurts for the pain I see my family suffering, my other children who still cry for her at night, who miss her so much every minute of every day...  for my husband who will stop and breathe and have a moment when he thinks of her or something reminds him of her...

And today my heart hurts for my sister and her partner and our families, everyone who was touched by his little heavenly being.  

We are having a little party this afternoon.  It is not a joyous occasion, but I feel the need to do something to mark his anniversary.  

We have a little cake with blue frosting and silver sparkles, and we have some balloons that we will send to Heaven...  and we will sing Happy Birthday.  

We also have a few little balloons that we will send to Nicola as well.   

My only hope is that today of all days, they have each other up there, they can find comfort in each others presence...

Because God knows, today there is little comfort down here without them.

Hey Everyone,

Sorry I haven't had more time to post over the festive season, its been hectic over here in Melbourne with work and celebrating, but I hope you all had a really good Christmas and New Years!

My year has started with a bit of a heatwave, it was 41 degrees today which was crazy! Especially to go to work in, and the rest of the week is going to be pretty hot too- get me some snowww!

I've been wearing this bag from Ripcurl a lot these days, I love the suede fringing and the fact that it is black- which all of my bags seem to be these days. These little jelly shoes from SportsGirl were another great find, theyre perfect for those super hot days where no matter how much i want to, I cant wear my little pixie boots.

Ive kind of lost all concept of time and days over the festive period and cant believe its the weekend again, it feels so undeserved but happy Friday anyways guys, hope you have a good one!
